You always get the best birds!
what is that? A robin?

No ducks showed up last night, but a neighbor said she has seen them under her stairs hanging out. She thinks they have a nest nearby. Not really good news with all the feral cats around here.

I'm quite disturbed with the people who sell their houses and leave their cats behind to fend for themselves. 😢 They would be very bad news for little ducklings. Sad all around.

Saw a Sharp Shin hawk make a pass at birds on the home feeder. It missed and landed on the ground. One of the turkey hens fluffed up and came running at it. Practicing for when she has poults?
@rjohns39 used to have toms that would jump out of their pen to attack and kill owls.

Humming Birds are here, gallon a day and always have one ready to go for next fill. Four AM this morning at least 4-5 Whip-poor-wills going to town, Owl out in the swamp asking the same question over and over. Finally filled the feeder since the Grackles left, next bunch of hogs will be Cow Birds.
