Turkey hen and four poults are under the home feeder. A squirrel is scattering seeds, and they are scrambling to pick them up. They are getting big.

So awesome! I agree, the camera feeder was one of the best presents I’ve ever received!I’ve been feeding wild birds since I was about 5 years old, just recently invested in some of the feeder cameras. 110% worth it
I'm jealous! I know I've seen one, once. What is it? It picked a berry, then this one and another one like it passed the berry back and forth for a moment before the other one finally ate it lol View attachment 4171122View attachment 4171123View attachment 4171127View attachment 4171124
Merlin also has a life list you can save your sightings to if you create an account and log in.I'm jealous! I know I've seen one, once.
Peterson's guide has a Life List in the front. When I see a species for the first time I check it off, then add a date and location.
Is that a book? I’ve been looking for something to use as a checklist.I'm jealous! I know I've seen one, once.

you guys keep talking about Merlin, I need to look into it! I didn’t know it had a list, now I really need to look into it. Does is cost?Merlin also has a life list you can save your sightings to if you create an account and log in.
It's free and loads of fun. I never set up an account, but I love using it to identify all the birds we don't see, but can hear. Some water birds, like the kingfish and swallow, don't eat from our feeders, but we can see them flying over and diving into the river. Fun to identify them.Is that a book? I’ve been looking for something to use as a checklist.

There are reasons to back up everything of any importance.over the years I have used digital methods for saving information, only to lose it to software upgrades, computer crashes, or businesses going defunct.
