Feeding Wild Birds

The 'transmitter' hen came in this afternoon once again. Ever since something spooked the flock, she is the only one feeding in the back yard. Only saw the bearded hen that one time - it's good to know that she is still alive.

Thank you.

One person is not "people". Words are important.

From the source:
So far, no other human infections have been detected in Canada, and investigations are still under way to determine how the teen was exposed to the virus.
That's important. Did the teen work with poultry? Was a hunter? Did the teen have underlying health issues, "comorbidities", that may have weakened its immune system and made it more susceptable to infection?

Article was in 2024, any new cases or outbreaks in the area?

Be informed, not conformed.

IIRC, he had been in contact with a cow that was carrying/contracted H5N1.

The original article you referenced said it wasn't from a cow.

Nevermind, we've derailed this thread on Feeding Wild Birds enough. Let's stop it here.
