Personally, I would feed them outside as long as the feeder is out of the elements.

Whether you feed inside or outside the coop really depends on your setup and a few other factors such as weather and pests. For the most part I've always fed outside in a covered run.

Welcome to BYC! Glad you are here with us! Personally, we feed our chickens outside, as long as we can shelter the birds and their food from the rain. We live in western Washington. I’m not sure where you live and what the climate is there.

We feed indoors for the coops, but the growout pens have hutches so those have to be outdoors. We use the PVC portal buckets for those so water/snow doesn't get the food wet.
