It's very important that she get the complete dose of 250mg. I pry the beak open and push the pill onto the tongue. They will swallow it then. Sometimes they spit it out. Just do it again.

If she likes peanut butter, you can dip the pill in it. I have great luck with that.

It is in powder form from a capsule ,I put the powder on the cheese,do you think thats ok ?

As long as you can figure out a reliable delivery method so she gets the full dose, whatever works!

I just had to give some of my girls amoxicillin. I had 500 mg capsules so I divided them up and put them in eggs or mixed it in with a tiny amount of tuna and they ate it right up.

yes that is exactly what I have and I divided it also.Pandora loves cheese and eats it right up.What did your girls need the amoxicillin for?
