feeling helpless over my sick chicken Pandora!

@Cocco I’m just getting to this thread. How is your girl?
She is eating and drinking,I am seeing some change in some of her droppings(brown)when I got home from work today. This morning it was still green and runny,so maybe the antibiotics are starting to kick in.I have yet to hear her breathing to see if there is any change.I didn't want to disturb her while she slept.I will know more tomorrow morning.I didn't see much more feather loss today either.your input is appreciated please.

yes that is exactly what I have and I divided it also.Pandora loves cheese and eats it right up.What did your girls need the amoxicillin for?
Clostridium Perfringens is what I believe they had after reading Nambroth's post on another post. The vet prescribed Baytril for another hen but I didn't have enough of that to treat them all but I had Fish Mox on hand so I went with that.

@micstrachan @azygous today's update on Pandora: This morning I first saw white ball of poop and another that was watery and green. At 10:30 am it was loose and brown, and again watery and green (smaller amount).Wheezing still there, but her spirits were up today. She had a dirt bath at her and her sisters favorite spot. She wants to be in her coop with the new chickens. It is taken me time to get her in the garage at night where I have her quarantined.Doses: 1st day 125 mg amoxicillin/2nd day Super Booster /3rd and 4th day 250 mg amoxicillin.I noticed she is back to her normal drinking, not as much as she has been drinking days prior.

Ignore all the stuff except her behavior. Behavior is the best indicator of how a chicken is feeling, and therefore, general health. When a sick chicken starts behaving more normally, you can take it to the bank, she's improving. You have every reason to expect a full recovery. (She'll still carry the virus, though.)
