My SO's younger DD is having all kinds of problems. We went to Texas last week to help her move, after her split from her long-term b/f. She was sick at that time and is apparently very sick now. A respiratory thing that she's on antibiotics for, plus something going on with her stomach; probably from not eating right. We also found out last night that she got fired from her job from taking too much sick time.
Anyhow, my SO's other DD drove down here from Little Rock late yesterday and today she and my SO are going to TX to see what they can do to help out. DD from LR got in a car accident on the way down here, but thankfully she and the GS are okay. Truck is messed up a bit, but trucks can be fixed.
I sooo wanted to keep the GS while they were gone today, both to help them out and to have some one-on-one time with the GS.
Problem is, my illness is flaring up and it looks like it is going to be a painkiller kind of day for me. They had to take the GS with them.
All I can do is sit here, hope for some relief from the pain and be no help to anyone. It's very frustrating. [IMG]
This concludes today's rant. Thanks for reading.

Definitely familiar with the lost, painkiller days. It always takes me a day or two afterward to catch up mentally. I figure it could be worse, I could not have the painkillers.

Prayers with you dear... one of those days for me too (pain wise) weather is bad here and fibro and arthritis is all time high today - hang in there sweetie pie. Things will get better. Curl up on the couch with a nice comfy blanket, hot cuppa whatever and take it easy today. Its your body's way of telling you time to take a "time out for you day."

All I can say is you gotta believe there are better days ahead. It's still frustrating.

Thanks for the kind words y'all. I did get one piece of good news to make me feel better. The eggs I sent home with another BYCer are hatching, making my Thor a daddy! [IMG]
I'm headed back to bed in a few. Hope y'all have an awesome day!
