Feedback Feet to Centimetres

Dear Administrator,

just asking... is there a way... when posters write about sizes... that they not only give sizes in feet but also in centimetres (metric system). Would it be possible to do that for us site visitors who come from European countries. By the way... I think your site is great. I keep coming back to read more. Lots of info, especially about coop designs and chicken health management.

I don't know if this measurement thing is feasible. Would the site's system recognise a feet measure and automatically add a metric value? Hmmm... leave it to you...

I'm not an administrator, but will pass on that I've found and used a really nice site (free) for all sorts of conversions. https://www.convert-me.com/en/
It's far from the only one... a google search will reveal plenty to choose from.
1inch = 2.54 cm
12 inch = 1 foot
1 foot = 30.48 cm
3 feet = 1 yard
1 yard = 91.44 cm

It would help if you put your location in your profile,
then many/some would try to adjust their info to your understanding.
I also use a conversion program regularly,
old habit from working with equipment drawings manufactured in Europe,
where they rarely accommodated our system.

I think that posting both imperial and metric would be too much work for most people.

I don't think we have any official areas with measurements, but a lot of our members will post in imperial units because that's how most were raised. It would be hard for us to require all members to post in both.

I just with the US would have gone metric years ago... but that's just me
