Female pigeon attacking male after egg hatches

Help!! My female and male pigeons were so lovey dovey when the female laid eggs and the male was on the eggs more than the female was, however, the first baby hatched today and the female has become extremely aggressive towards the male and lungs at him and grabs his feathers and smacks him with her wings.

I am not sure what is going on. What breed? Did anything change in their enviorment? Hope this helps!

Usually the will care and rear the chicks, I've never experienced this with mine. The female may just be a bit more protective than usual. Just watch her behavior .

Nothing has changed, I hand raised them both and they have always been good together I'm not sure why shes acting so crazy

It's very strange they were great and both taking care of the eggs and then one egg hatched and boom she hated him

Things can change when those eggs hatch.
Not sure about pigeons, but you might want to remove male for now.
Hope someone with pigeon experience comes along to help.

I have them in an x large dog cage with toys and ledges in there so they have more than enough room to get away from eachother. But just to be safe I put a cage divider in so hopefully she knows hes not trying to annoy her

Are they siblings? It wouldnt cause aggresion but its not good to inbreed.
