Fencing project for my goats. My biggest project yet

Past the feeling bad part and excited to move forward. I raised my daughter on my own till she was 8 so I should be good.
Think about it this way . now there's an excuse for the crazy .At least till it's over
Goat math works like chicken math .Just a little slower. There theraputic

I've been with my husband over 30 years and that's an accomplishment..
Have two sons 29 and 24 years old. I'm thinking these new kids will be easier..:gig

Looking good Rachel.
I don't know what type of wire fencing you intend to fit to the posts. I use stock net here. It will, correctly erected hold a charging ram.
These are a couple of pictures of a very small amount of the fencing I've put up here.
Both types are strong. The post and rail with the stocknet sandwiched between the uprights and the rail is the stronger fence but it's more expensive to do.
What I would suggest is you fit some corner post struts if you intend to tension whatever wire fencing you use.
No concrete was used for any of the fences here.

You can buy posts with machined points on them here which you drive into the ground.

Not sure how how I'd drive them in. Wosnt to bad with the auger just the bags of sakrete. All corners and opening will be reinforced with struts. Learned my lesson last time

Never seen that type of wood post. Supply store a VERY limited in the area

Are you gonna line the inside with electric to keep the goats off the fence? Mine like to lean in and rub along their sides without electric. They wear it out quickly.
