They are crafty and love a challenge but I love them like my children. My 140 lb horned children. What kind of goats? Welcome to the world of insanity .Haha

My Doe is a Fainting goat and the wether is a Nigerian Dwarf/Fainting goat..
Must be my menopause that has me crazy ..Now I just added goats to the craziness..

I Boer mama and 3 younger Nubian Boer mixes. 3 does and one wether . Wanted to breed again and this gives me room. Only 1 a year. It's just me and my 17 yrs old daughter and I work 40-60 HR weeks so don't want to over do it .It's a labor of love. They keep things interesting. All my pics of them are one my old phone. They're pretty big though. It's the Boer in them .

That me..Not full blown menopause but definitely has me up at night with the sweats and insomnia..I too am crazy without this happening. I'm not even 50 yet so I definitely don't think I should be going through this stuff yet..

It's funny how I got goats. My friend here on BYC posted a picture of her new Doe on my thread. Well I contacted my friend with goats and bought two that day. Had them delivered 3 days later. Quickly moved my Ducks out of the pen and well I have goats now.

My first 2 were my wedding gift .Lol. No they didn't attend. Unfortunately going through a divorce which explains my moving but I went from 2.5 acres lot to 17.5 so thats great .
I'm only 37 but menopause at 40s is not unusual in my family. I've been dealing with stage 4 endo since I was a teen so used to night sweats hot flashes along with all the other fun stuff (pain!!!!).So Dr said early menopause could be the best thing for me

Don't feel bad about divorce if you do? You will be great on your own anyways..
