Ferment to regular feed

We feed our chickens fermented organic feed. However we are going on vacation for a few days. Has anyone gone to regular feed for a couple days and then back to fermented?

I have done it many times. I start them on the regular dry feed BEFORE I leave so I am not anxious about them eating it. They are fine for the time I am gone. They go back to fermented easy enough.

I have dry available all the time, so it's never a problem when I go away and they don't get fermented for a few days or week.

x2. Mine might miss their fermented feed but they'll be fine for a few days with just their dry feed.
