Fermented feed for molting?

@PioneerChicks do you know of a thread that covers this? Or do I do the same thing as with the scratch? I put water about an inch above the scratch and make sure to keep it covered in water. If I do as @Percheron chick says, do you know if I mix the flock raiser in with the scratch and then put the water in?
Sorry for the million questions, I'm just so interested. Lol.

There's no need to add more water to the feed than what makes it a scoopable, oatmeal type consistency. There shouldn't be extra water on the top and there should be no need to strain it if you are using mash, crumbles or pellets.

I feed out most of what is in my container then more feed and water is added and 24 hours later it's ready to go again (as long as it is somewhere not too chilly). Easy.
