At first I did not just in case it didn't work so I wouldn't ruin a whole batch of grains (I have large batches in 30 gall trash cans) no I didn't cut it up just put it in w/ the water and put a scoop of ferment water from the grains. Today we combined them, they seem to like it, still not sure how "healthy" it is for them though, or if it is just empty calories.Do you just put the bread in with your fermented grains? If so I asusme you cut it up into cubes?
