Fermenting Feed for Meat Birds

I would buy a copy. I don't mind an e-reader but there is certainly something comfortable and familiar about reading a real book. I am a huge fan of hard cover. Anyway, if only we could have all of the wit and wisdom shared on this site in a book. Imagine the masterpiece it would be...

Worth just as much as Storey's???? Oh, heaven forbid that it be compared to that rag!

That book is for folks who don't know any better....I would hope that mine would be for folks who are a little more serious about chickens than that.
YES it would be MUCH better than the Storeys and yep that was my GO TO book BEFORE YOU!!! NO I wanna be first to buy one! LOL

we need to get this pecking order straight.

I'd want it in a book form...I'm not much on all this technology and find it sadly lacking when one is reading. I like to feel a book, look at it, leaf through it, mark the pages, highlight things, show it to other people, loan it out and store it on my bookshelf. Tuck it in my pocket or tuck it into a crevice in the shed or coop for quick reference...that's the kind of book I want it to be. Tough, small, easy to carry and easy to reference. I want to see dog-eared copies of it in used book bins, libraries and at yard sales, looking ragged and well read.

Been thinking about that....trying to keep the information down to a basic handbook as a volume one and then get into some details in a second volume. Barebones and basic, straight to the point with easy to follow instructions, if there is such a thing, in the first book.
oh my did I say I am excited????

You read the first few paragraphs and see that it holds no different information than all the rest of the chickens books...almost word for word, and any information you could glean from magazines even. Nothing new, nothing that isn't standard blah, blah, blah from the USDA recommended specifications for poultry.

LOL It was the only "chicken book" I could find in a store that was half-way about really raising chickens. All the rest seemed like they were just "perdy picture books" for a fancy coffe table. lol This is all the more reason that you have to write this book! Oh pleeease help us! :) LOL
