Fermenting Feed for Meat Birds

TW, what a very crazy party that would be! I could see it now, a chicken meetup! Everyone would bring their favorite bird and there'd be much squabbling and clucking... It'd make more noise than a frat house! We'd all swap eggs and bee would lecture us on the benefits of good husbandry and we could all sing Chicken Carols together!

Dang. Now I want to sing Chicken Carols. Real bad!

CM... now that sounds like a good time to me! We cound have chicken, rabbit, squirrel, egg everything and a whole lot of candy cookies pies cakes... everything AND a whole lot of fun! LOL We could even let Bee bring Fluffy if she insists. hahaha

Lisa, I was truly thinking of you as I sat around in a dark chocolate haze...truly!

Oh...TW? You'll be pleased to know that I've decided to keep that foo-foo Cochin chicken.....

For now. There's just something about him that I like but I cannot explain it properly other than he's smart, he's humble, and I like how he carries himself, though he has no practical purpose other than for eating. I'll have to see if he can integrate into the flock without too much loneliness and misery. I'm thinking he can pal with the two new BAs which are also having some trouble truly finding the right niche.

.....and I've found he likes the same movies I do and likes how I season my popcorn.

Maybe after the other roosters are gone, you can put those two girls in with him in his pen for a while til they're all good and bonded and then let them all out to range and move them in with the main flock.

Hey, I'm up for chicken Carols and a get together too. We can all watch movies with our favorite chickens too.
