Fermenting Feed for Meat Birds

I agree and it has nothing to do with the article. lol Ever feel like you are in something like the Twilight Zone where everybody around you is crazy? lol

From the day I can remember anything at all...yes...all alone, stuck in the Twilight Zone. You'd think I would finally adjust but exactly how does one adjust to something like that?

I seem to find that if you find a way to cope with it they throw you a new twist to send you over the edge yet again. lol

So true! LOL The problem can come from trying to fight our own battles huh?

I did that for 40 years, which I now compare to how long the Jewish nation had to wander in the wilderness.

That was me. Complain about the manna, whine about how everything always happens to me...why just me???, struggle like a bug on a pin and wonder why life was so hard. What an idiot.

One day I gave up and finally could be allowed to see the big picture and I've been learning to give up ever since. It's lovely! It was simply divine to discover that life is not about me.

Took a weight off, I tell ya.

Now I just float...every day is pretty much just floating. How weightless that feels!

I am right there with you, Bee.

My daughter had heard me fuss, grumble, preach, etc about that horrible book "50 shades of Grey" that it being made into a MOVIE!!!!!

So what does she do?? She brings a book home to me that is a parody called "50 Shades of Chicken"!!! It main characters are Miss Hen.......and a chef!!!! I didn't think too much about initially, but I opened it......OH.....MY.......GOODNESS....I have been married for 25 years and have two children.......and it still made me blush! My daughter stood there while I read the first couple of paragraphs, and absolutely died laughing at me!! I just thumbed through to see the recipes, and then I made her put it away and threatened her if she showed it to her father! The truly sad part is that the 50 shades are 50 chicken recipes, which look wonderful, if you can get past the suggestive language......

I've heard bits and pieces about the book. From what I hear the only good thing about it is the creative uses for duct tape, for which I am a champion. Lately I've been using it to truss the birds prior to processing and wondering why I didn't think of that years ago! Just bought a roll today! Red Green is my hero.

I just don't know what I would do if my boys bought me a book like that...I got a knife sharpener and some flashlights for Christmas.

JUST what I wanted!

I guess if my son had bought that for me I would have inflicted bodily harm, instead of the admonishment my daughter received!

I think she felt a bit guilty, so she bought me a book called Miracles and Massacres......a history book. She bought her dad a book called "George Washington's Secret Six"......another history book about a spy ring during the Revolutionary War who actually helped win the war. I look forward to reading them both.......no recipes, though

I had a real violent book that was pretty disgusting. Hated to waste a perfectly good book so I got a knife out and cut a huge hole in the middle of all the pages then glued them together and now it is used to store things.

Yep Bee, I have got to work on that floating. Sometimes my floating seems like the floating a volleyball does. LOL I'm glad you have got to that point of relaxation. I use to have that and hope to get there again - soon!
