FERN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aw, would be nice to visit with you, too!

Beth I currently have five of Dusty's eggs in there. Seems that I may not be able to set any Delawares this time, so if someone wants to pick up these eggs I've collected, that'd keep them from going in the fridge.

Serrin, you are a hoot! Pack up and move over here it's a beautiful part of the country!

Cynthia, if all 5 hatch, that gives me good odds on getting him at least a head wife and a concubine!

*sigh* Would if I could...though I don't think the DH would much appreciate the suggestion. We're in the last year of building our log home, from scratch, no kits of any kind, and it has already been a 3 year project. If I even remotely suggested a move now, I think he'd have my guts for garters for sure! After all, this whole thing was my big idea

Kathy, I swear, you may have gotten only the second dwarf ever to come out of my BRs! How on earth??? Is she really that short legged? Something is really sort of odd about that one. Her legs are not even the right color and my BRs have nice yellow legs. Genetics are really messing with my head lately!!

There has been one dwarf from my BR flock in all these years. He had pullet coloring, but never grew. I'm wondering if this is a male. The comb seems off for a pullet and the legs are super-short. You may have a Cord there, not a Polly, if it's a dwarf. How on earth can I keep having dwarves come from unrelated lines of birds here?

Kathy has a magic bator! Put in any breed, any line, and you get dwarves!!!

That other dwarf came from Hawkeye with Lexie. Dutch is Hawkeye and LExie's son and Fern is Dutch's daughter, Hawk's granddaughter. So, does that mean that Hawkeye, who was McMurray stock, carried a gene he passed to Dutch and now Fern has it? ARGH!!!!
