Hey I am trying to breed my Jap bantams. I put some eggs in the incubator and they look infertile wondering how to make my rooster fertile. I have seen him try to mate but no eggs are fertile any advice? Thanks!

I don't think you can make a rooster "fertile" if for some reason he was not already. Do they connect while mating? How long have the eggs been in the incubator?

How old is he? It can take roosters a while to learn how to mate and actually get it right. So if he is still young, I’d give him some more time to perfect his technique. But if he is older, then he might just truly be infertile or maybe bad at mating. But that said, maybe bantams mature faster, I do not know much about this particular breed, but most roosters take a while to perfect it and start making fertile eggs.
