Fertile Rooster - less than 4 months old - Yippee!

For those of you taking notes on rooster fertility (like I was)--
My Buff Orpington roo hatched May 17th and runs with a year old Buff Orp hen.
I have been checking for fertility since he turned 3 months old.
And now as of September 1st -- He's fertile! Yay!! I check the eggs by placing them in the incubator for at least 5 days, and this time (finally!) there are veins! Yay!
Little BO chickie coming my way soon.

So Excited!

You can simply crack the egg open in the frying pan & look for the bullseye in the yolk for a fertility check.

I am not an expert **bulls eye** checker, and besides... getting a chickie to confirm is so much Funner!

Buff Orpington Rooster - hatch date May 17
Fertile egg in the bator by Sept. 2nd.
Chick hatched Sept. 24th - 2am.
