I candled fresh eggs from the carton and they show signs of fertility.
Sweetie, that is just not possible. Even with eggs we know to be fertile, you cannot see that by candling before about 4-5 days incubation. Not sure exactly what you're seeing, but it isn't veins. If so, someone is playing a cruel joke at the processing/packaging place and putting incubated eggs in the cartons. That's the only way it's possible at all, but even then, there would be a blood ring from a dead embryo, not veining, since they would have been refrigerated.
