I have three hens and one rooster they are eight month old RIRs but ive noticed when I use my eggs only one third are fertile is this naturale? Will my rooster Larry ever get caught up? I appreciate any help,info and input.
 
Blood or meat spots aren't indicators of fertility. Check out this thread, she has some good pictures. It really takes a practiced eye to tell if an egg is fertile.

With your roo to hen ratio, and the age of your birds, my thought is all your eggs are fertile.
thanks so much for the pics and info studying todays eggs i think all were fertile I actually took Larry a treat and told him to keep up the good work
