Fertilizer and chickens

How long should I wait after fertilizing before I let chickens back on the grass? I already understand that chickens fertilize the lawn, so please avoid commenting on that. I had to fertilized so our lawn will get green faster so we can sell our house.

I would wait at least til there was one good rain, r water it well, then be sure I couldn't see the fertilizer on the ground any more.
