(I think my RP career is ready to be sabotaged again before it's barely started. Some things just won't be the same. 'Tis unfortunate indeed!)
Hally awoke by the stream, remembered where she was now, and promptly closed her eyes again.
Why did people make the outside world sound like such a great place? She'd spent the morning gathering food to feed herself, which had taken enough effort as it had been a while since she'd had any real exercise.
He was a half a second behind her, and landed a few feet away with a small thud "I'm impressed" He admitted, then added with a sly grin "You know the person who makes the kill has to carry it back right?"
[No worries! RPs do have their slow times, and it's never really anyone's fault. This roleplay in particular is still in the development stage and not much has happened yet as far as events (yet), so that's another reason why you didn't get a very prompt reply. Don't sweat it, you're playing just fine.](Oh, thank heavens, I thought I'd done something wrong. It's been a while since I RPed, and I was worried the rules might have changed or something.)![]()
Hally looked up as a grey feather landed in the water beside her. She reached out and picked it up, examining it in the fading light. The light seemed to glint off it, highlighting specks of black. She looked in the direction where the feather had come from, but the setting sun pierced her sight, and ensured that nothing could be seen besides a strange haze fringed with unidentifiable silhouetted shapes. She shrugged, and went back to chipping at building materials. This was going to take her a while.
(No worries)"Yes I did, how nice of you to care." he said causticly, giving her a sidelong glance with a half-smile. He banked to the side and angled his wings inward for a falcon dive down to catch a fleeing jackrabbit.
(I know, late reply, but I just barely got on)
Vita grinned, throwing her head back slightly and laughing cheerfully. She chuckled to herself as she gripped to the carcass tightly with her talons and lifted herself into the air. Her wings beat the air as Vita began to rise ever so slowly, causing clouds of dust to billow up from the ground and disappear into the air.
(No worries)
Phoenix copied his movements and dove behind him, though slower. "You know, the humans will find us eventually." Her tone was mild, but her eyes were very serious.
