HOWEVER.. all bird eggs can be effected quiet a lot by fluctuations in temp. It have heard of chicken eggs hatching on day 25 when they are supposed to hatch on 21 SOOO.. be brave

I am on day 21 with my little lonely single Orp egg that made it to lock down and nothing. I stuck a light in there last night and checked and saw movement so HOPEFULLY everything is ok.

HAHAHA!!!!!! Well I was just thinking GREAT! Just like my pregnancy THESE babies are going to be overdue!!! I had to force my son out! I just yelled at my eggs very sternly "Don't make me come in there!!!"

It's day 21 with Doris. She's not a very good broody. We've gone from 12 to 6 eggs. The last one she killed and I found the egg with the little chick in it with it's leg stickin out. It was so sad. I don't know if any of the ones she's on are going to hatch. I don't feel any movement in them or hear any peeping. They were probably scared to death after what happened to the last one. >sigh< I really do have enough chickens, I don't neeeeeed anymore. She will not be sitting again.
