Filling the incubator 6-3-2011 Join me for my 1st attempt?

well i will be glad there is 25 chicks i dont have to hatch out and thats the ones im ordering from Meyer Hatchery im getting 25 BO hens and 3 BO roos

I need 100 chicks hatched out and im up to 45 and with the BO that will bump it to 70 and then i just have to hatch out 30 which is incubating 2 more times since i cant get over 18 chicks it seems and then the rest of the chicks i incubate im selling

I'll have to calibrate both hydrometers and see what the results are on that. It's really bugging me that 7 hatched perfectly, and knowing that the remaining 14 were fully formed.

i have three chicks! another one that pipped ten hrs ago is having a hard time. but based on all yall's problems, i am leaving it alone for now. i don't think i will sleep at all tonite.

ps- sorry to all who have had a hard time so far. i still don't know if my hatch rate will be good or bad but i am happy for the three i have so far. i think it is bad to blame yourselves. you are all good incubator mommies!!

well i think that im going to unplug my fan cause its hooked up to my old cell phone charger so i wont have to open my incubator up im not expecting anything to happen till saterday night or sunday
