final three days of incubation?

the instruction manual on my incubator said stop turning eggs on the final three days prior to hatch date! i just want to know if it will hurt wnything if you accidentally do turn on the last three days?

It will not hurt anything if they accidentally get turned. If you consider a mother hen setting on eggs in her nest, they get turned all the time, she does not stop because it's day 18 or whatever. She shifts them around with her feet, moves them under her wings and close to her body. Not to worry :)

The idea behind leaving them upright is to help them get into the proper position before they grow too big inside the egg to turn around. They want their head toward the big end. This is primarily a problem with shipped eggs, less so if they are fresh/local eggs.
