Finally...a good photo...after how many attempts? 😆 Let's share bloopers!

My big guy, Crow... everyrime I call his name, he shakes his head!

That's funny 😁
Sometimes my Rocky does that, but it is the weirdest head shake, like a combination shake & twitch, then he does his fancy footwork, you know the "side stepping, puffed neck feathers, don't mess with me or I'll spur ya" moves. Yes, my Rocky's cockeyed head shake is pure attitude! 😆
Don't ya just love it?
Crow does the same side step...

When Rocky 1st started side stepping & the head twitch, he was still very young & the attempts were not very coordinated, he didn't have his "act" perfected yet. Plus being my 1st rooster, it was the 1st time I witnessed such odd movements...I worried he had some kind of nervous tick, had a brain tumor or was having muscle spasms! 😆 🤣 😂 I googled every known illness & condition known to poultry, trying to figure it out. He almost looked as if trying to mimic the Egyptian dance, his 1st head movements were hilarious.

It wasn't until he added puffing up neck feathers, running up behind me to surprise kick the back of my calf then run away doing his laughing cackle, & I saw similar Roo behavior on YouTube videos, did I figure out he was perfectly healthy, & just had a practical joker attitude.

Fast forward to now, I've got 10 Roos, & while all do the twinkle toes side step, no one does it quite like my Rock Star Rocky. Totally ornery, even in his old age, just love my Rocky Roo. ❤️ 🐓
