WOW! Nice big egg. All my girls are close to laying age - about 5 1/2 - 6 months. The behavior is beginning to show; someone has been testing out a nesting box, combs & wattles have grown and are BRIGHT red, more chest bumping, grousing and general hormonal behavior but no egg yet. I have a bad case of egg envy, but happy for everyone who gets their first. Can't wait. I just figured it out - they are saving them for Christmas presents

Holy cow! I've always wanted a double yolker but to no avail. Just yesterday we got a little fart egg.

I couldn't stop laughing and staring at it and the huge chicken that laid it, you would have never guessed.
