I killed a Wiesel last week that killed five of my hens. It got two one night and three a different night. On the second night my dog started to bark so I went out and could hear my hens screaming. When I got to the coop two were dead, i closed it back up and went inside. A while later my dog started barking again so I ran out with my flashlight and saw the wiesel killing one of my hens. I went into the coop determined to kill it with a rake handle but was amazed at how fast it was and only proceeded to break my rake handle into pieces. I ran back to my garage and picked up my sons t ball wooden bat and went back to the coop. After an hour of trying to kill it, the wiesel finally gave my one shot and i took it. I have made a few more improvements to keep them out but they are so small and can fit into such small places that it makes it hard. I am know in the process of making wiesel traps that I will set out in the woods surrounding my coop.
