I personally would have probably kept the Cane Toad (I am an Amphibian fan) but I completely support you removing this one from the ecosystem. They will continue to wreak havoc on the poor American toads and other animals.

Don't leave dog or cat food out on your porch, they are attracted to it and will eat it.

EEEWWWWW, that is one big ugly toad. Sorry about your dog, and I'm glad you got that sucker. Invasive species are a pain in the hiney. I want to tie who ever brought fire ants into the country onto the biggest mound I can find.

We used to catch cane toads and play with them. No one where I lived knew what they were until the kid a few blocks down got sick and the wildlife people came out and took a look.....
