Finally caught the stray Min Pin - new pics

I may be a bit off on the weight amount, it was several yrs ago (like 8yrs or so) that they had theirs. I thought it was either 12 or 14lbs, so dunno, I know they called it a Standard size. But it was definately a good weight & not overweight at all. Just looked to be filled out at the exact weight. I know it was definately over the 7-8 lbs cuz my little Minnie was under a yr old & only weighing about 5-5 1/2 lbs at 6 or 8 months old or so. But unless you've breed the dogs yourself ya never know the history of the dog's background, not everyone's honest.

I've even heard of a breeder who passed off a litter of Rottys as full blooded with papers when they were actually gotten by a dog 'other' (a rotty mix) than their sire . So they were nothing close to the akc papers they were sold with.

Sad people would do that to make a profit.

But some of the most Wonderful dogs are mutts. Personality matter more when it comes to a longtime pet.

My poor Minnie is so gray now at 10yrs. & she's always had a near bald belly, so she has about 20plus outfits of dresses & tshirts, lol. Hubby has always said "maybe she'd grow belly hair if you keep clothes off of her", lol. She even has a winter coat with a tiger lookalike fur collar, too cute. I've even gotten her 2 different styles of dog raincoats from the dollar store for only a dollar!

Love That

The dollar store is called Dollar Tree & they have from time to time various xsmall, small & medium dog dress, male dog collar tshirts & raincoats. Like I need another reason to buy her an outfit.

Hubby even picked her up winter shoes from Walmart..... they zip up & have wolly inners & bottom rubber soles. Which are a godsent for the winter snow. I already have to shovel her an area to 'do her business' in the snow, cuz anything over 2 inches touches her belly & she has to jump thru the snow.
