The chicken wire and the cement is a neat idea.

Your neighbor *feeds* the coyotes?? This is totally insane.
Here in southern California, some residents were doing the same. The upshot was that a toddler was killed in her own backyard by a coyote who had lost any fear of humans. Several other young children were also attacked. One incident had a coyote trying to drag a 1 year old up over the small retaining wall to the hills, while her parents were throwing chairs at it. The coyote wouldn't release the baby.... finally it ran back up into the hills.

Bad, bad habit to feed these wild animals. They are NOT dogs. Coyotes are nasty, sly animals who will attack domestic pets and young children with tragic results. While walking in the early morning hours, I've had coyotes cross the street to the other side; they will stand and stare. It's as if they're sizing me up. No fear on the part of the coyote at all.

Hope to get new pics posted soon. Will start to stain once the rain slows some. The wood has to be dry for the stain.

I needed a place to keep my tools so I wouldn't have to bump my head going under the house, so I hung them on the side of the coop.

Also, here is my Turkey house, it will house 2 Royal Palm turkeys.

The run attached to the chicken coop is 16X32 and it will be expanding within the next couple of weeks.
