Finally got a pip on day 23

I'm borrowing my mum's ancient incubator (about to buy my own). I put 11 light sussex eggs in but halfway through the incubation we lost power, so the temp dropped suddenly. We lost 5 from that. Then a few days later we noticed the automatic turner had stopped working. So we had to do that manually. After all of this, I felt like I was going to lose all my eggs. Day 20 and 21 passed. No pips. Day 22. Still nothing. The temps keep fluctuating by a degree or so in the incubator and I was getting so frustrated. Now it's day 23 and finally one of my eggs have pipped and I'm so happy!

Baby hatched! We got a quick photo and cuddle in while we changed the light bulb in his box
