THANKS!!! We just checked again and now have our third egg in a row from our BSL. I am just love love loving this

Now waiting on the other 2

I cant wait to see the color difference between their eggs....(if any)

OHH my quail just started last tuesday and I want to incubate! Do you have a turner or do you do it by hand? I've never had to hand turn but I'd be willing to learn to save on the cost of getting a quail egg turner that only turns six eggs.

I am turning by hand. I actually just picked up about 70 eggs from the retiring breeder I got my birds from. It was the last of her stock. All were put in the incubator at different times, she says she just regulates temp and not humidity. 3 hatched so far overnight. I'd like to do it properly and have them in correct humidity but it will be hard considering what a variety of time the eggs have been in there. Ill have to set up a "lockdown" incubator and swap eggs that are ready for that into it. I am very new to incubating so we will see how it goes
