Last hatch I spent most of my time staring at the eggs, unfortunately, it didn't make them hatch any faster

Don't worry if you haven't had a pip yet by day 20-21, I had a chick hatch on day 24, talk about making me wait

Hope this hatch isn't quite as slow!

Omigosh. It's only Day 20, so imagine my surprise when I went in there just now and there was a chicklet looking up at me.....

Now THAT was painless....let's see how the next 27 go. I do believe this was one of the true Ameraucanas I got from Jean......whoopee !!!!!!!!! Blue-black if I'm not mistaken....double whoopee !!!!!!

I have some due the 21rst. Some buff orp eggs and one lone blue cochin eggs. First hatch from our chickens this year. Super excited as it's also the first from our splash roo x black hens.

i've got another chick out!!! and all of the rest are zipping!!! i'm so excited!! so far i have one splash silkie chick and one blue silkie.
