The girls have been laying the last few days... Too bad the incubator is full with turkey eggs in lock down! As soon as these guys hatch I'll throw some pea eggs in and see what they do! I'm pretty excited

We've got 3 separate areas the girls are laying in. Not sure if all 4 are laying yet, or if its just the 3 "proven" ladies.

Now I just need to find my bronze trio! Haven't found anyone in PA with them this year so I may have to look out of state

I have been getting some eggs for a little while but after reading your post I went out and checked and found two eggs in the purplexindia blue pen. So excited!!

Another entire year to wait here for eggs from my hatched peas last year,,,and then my males of the same age won't be mature enough to breed them,,,,will be as exciting as watching paint dry here for a long, long time yet

I got my first eggs from the birds I hatched last year. It is very exciting! Hope you have a good hatch. Same with the rest of you.

That is awesome to get eggs from yearlings!
Best of luck with the hatching!

Males of the same age as in all will be two? A two year old male can breed. I have a yearling peachick and both of his parents were two at the time. His dad didn't even have the start of a train at the time, either. Maybe that's why just one hatched?

There are two breeders listed in PA one does not have any bronze available and I do not know about the other. They are in Sugarloaf PA. They are the forth breeder on the PA list. The second breeder down also breeds them but in a classified ad it says nothing about Bronze for sale.

Hmmm sugar loaf is very close to me. I will have to look them up. I did try the breeder my piers are from, however heard nothing back from her. Thanks!!
