Finally I have my first chickens! I'm not sure what breed they are?

I got my first birds and I'm so excited!! I love them so much and they love their new mommy too!!

I got a total of 10 birds!

We named them all after rock artists and rappers.

Let me introduce them...

This is Ludacris

This is my laying hen, Da Brat.

All the rest of the hens are 3 months old...

I love all my chickens!!

But I am curious what breeds they are. I know my rooster (Luda) is a Silkie but what are my hens?

Luda is your silkie.
d brat is a gold laced wyandotte
3rd pic I believe is sllver laced wyandottes, gl wyandotte
salt and pep are barred rocks.
That's all I positively know.

Very original names, something else then elvis or della.
I had one chicken and her name was queen latifa and she was the queen of the flock.

One of salt and pepa has feathered feet? Not so sure about the barred rock idea..... maybe those two are some sort of cool looking mix.

Da Brat has a very prominant comb too...can you get some back or closer side shots of your new little flock??? They do look very happy in their new digs!

I dont know much about marans ... accept that they are the DARK egg layer!! Thats cool... I love different color eggs.
