Finally in their coop!

Oh my gosh the bitties! My birds wont stay still enough for good pics.This way at least when spring rolls around you can bring in more babies! And your coop looks awesome! I wish we didnt have so many rules. We are maxed out do to town rules. My 2 cochins are opposite in personality. The white is starting to assert herself and is a competitor for top hen, very assertive and bossy and always has dirty feet feathers. The partridge cochin is a dork... She is aloof- bottom of the pecking order and doesnt care lol prefers cuddles to being a bird which makes her everyones favorite. All 6 of them have been handled constantly since we brought them home by the kids and even hubby who didnt want birds would plop them on his lap while he was playing video games. Sorry for the close up my welsummer loves to get her pic taken she is a ham hahaha.

Yes, I was worried about the white Cochin and dirty feet. Interesting to hear one of yours is top of pecking order. I read they were more inclined to be like your partridge! How cute is that welsummer!
What a cute flock and I bet they eat up the attention like mine do!
We don’t necessarily have any rules on max amount of chickens, but don’t want to go past 10.

As long as she doesnt turn out to be a he is my only worry with her spunk. She has the reddest comb out of everyone but it is small so we are watching it. We figured the wyandotte would be top hen. She was fiesty when we first got her but has settled into middle of the pack. I agree with you- these guys are just pets I dont want to be overburdened with chores.
