Finally Introducing Myself! :)

Ok, I was just going to walk away and say noting.... But I can't... Preface this post with the fact that I'm a grandpa. Ok Mods Smack me if you will... It's important to know that the most important thing in any dad's life is his daughters. The hardest thing in the world for parents is to know when to let loose of the reins and when to clamp down. Grandparents are generally more liberal. But know that you are well loved, have parents who care about you and parents who want you to have some freedom. That said, all young people still need some level of protection. :old
Well said, Sir Bob! :goodpost:

Hi @RabbitGirl :frow
So, I have one question. Do your chicken live inside your house? Or did you just bring them in for the photo op? Oops... that was technically 2 questions wasn't it? ... now 3

Hope to see you in the trenches!

Does anyone have any questions about me or my pets?

What is it about snakes that made you want to get one? Do they take a lot of looking after being a reptile? I’ve been looking at getting a tortoise and after reading all about them they require a lot of things I never even knew about!
Was it the same when you were planning to get a snake?

Haha hi! :frow No our chickens do not live inside, we just occasionally bring them inside for fun. (this time it was because it was raining outside :) )

We got a snake because 1 they are adorable in our opinion :p and 2 he is actually surprisingly easy to take care of! All you really need to do is feed him (frozen then thawed rats/mice) every few weeks, give him water, occasionally help him shed, and clean his cage when it's dirty!
Before getting sun we had already known a lot about snakes, we had even pet sit our friend's snake and bearded dragon once!
There are a decent amount of things you will have to buy though, but doesn't that go the same for any other pets? Some main things we had to buy for Sun were a heat lamp, cage, hiding rocks, water bowl, climbing structure (ours is a branch), thermometer, and some other miscellaneous things. That may seem like a lot but it really isn't compared to some things. :D
I hope this answered your questions! :frow
