Wish I had thought of green. We purchased a used coop that was once red and patched with pink

After two trips to buy paint I finally decided on the same color as my house. How boring is that!?! LOVE your green coop!!

Congratulations on the new home for you and your birds. It's always so thrilling to get a new coop built or otherwise. I have several and I still get excited each time I get a new one or improve on an older one. Enjoy, they will never bore you that's for sure.

congrats on everything! especially the calm puppy baby! our chihuahua babies go nuts when we love on our chickybabies!

Thanks everyone.

I will surely have to show pictures of the ground that has (Already) been broken on an increased run. I've since added so many new birds! It's quite addictive!

This is my FIRST construction project EVER. So we'll see how it goes.

I have begun expansion. I am in the process of getting more (EXPENSIVE) hardware cloth so that I can bury it along the perimeter of the future run. The first step was to cover the chicken wire (from the new coop) with hardware cloth. Next, I began digging the left side of the run (the smallest side) and constructing the "shell."

I am traveling to the mountains for a week, so construction will continue from there. I will keep you all posted. Thanks for following progress.

(Don't know WHY it's sideways. Just tilt your head.)

Grillmaster33 congratulations on your new liver! I have a sister-in-law who needs a new liver and I had to have a mass removed from one of my kidneys in March. These things also take me back to a greater appreciation of life's simplest pleasures.
