More like Narrowed it OUT!
So I am fairly new to chickens, and am learning as I go, but I originally planned on only having 10 birds. I got MANY more now.
More because the hatcheries will not ship less than 15 birds, but also because I had a hard time deciding on the breeds I wanted to go with.
Hubby's solution? "just get whatever you want and I'll expand the coop".
BIG mistake.!
I have 15 that will be going into the coop soon, and another 15 on the way (should get them in 2 weeks).
I also have 15 Pendesenca eggs coming to incubate.
AND, we have 7 ducks to top that off.
Our Ducks are the Golden 300 Hybrids. We have 6 girls and a Drake.
Our chickens we have EE's, Australorps, Delawares, RIR's and white Leghorns.
We have more RIRs coming, as well as Cinnamon Queens and brown leghorns.
And the Pendesenca eggs.
I only want to keep about 3-5 of each breed, so will be selling any leftover birds.
I think I dug myself into a BIG hole. But I swear, chickens are like Pringles! You just can't STOP yourself!
