Here in WI we have been full of snow for the last couple of weeks. Last week we had a small melt for a couple of days, and a lot of snow left. It took my scared little cochin chickens a couple of days to finally venture back outside (with some coaxing with mealworms). [IMG]

"Yeah, we will come outside, but we aren't walking in the snow!"

"Hmmm... last time we were out here, we were smaller than this cat. This is nice!" [IMG]

    "What is this stuff?! "
"I don't know, let me get a better look at it..."

"Look at me, I am the big tough rooster! (Though I was the last to venture out, and the first to go back in. I let my faithful brood go ahead of me just to make sure everything was safe. Though, I would totally be out here first if there was something REALLY scary!) " [IMG]

Beautiful birds! It took mine forever to go out in the snow too! Of course our snow only lasts a few days, so they could afford to wait it out.

Yeah, and I think the funniest thing was that the rooster was the most "chicken" of them all! (pun intended) [IMG]
