Finally we have chickens

Hi, I joined this forum over a year ago with the intention of building a coop & getting chickens. It has taken a while but finally we have chickens. We have four Isa Browns but will probably get two more as we already have orders for eggs & this will pay for the feed.

I have created a page here if anyone wants to see more. Now I can't wait for our first eggs.

Thankyou for your kind comments. Yes, the split door is nice & handy for feeding kitchen scraps through without the risk of letting the chooks out or the dog in. I'm sure he'd love to get his teeth into one of them. He got up nice & close to the coop on the first day though & recieved a well earned peck on the nose so perhaps this will discourage him
