Fantasy thing: I used to have a world made up with a young elf, who was a prince. As an infant he was sent to the human realm so that the evil elves wouldn't be able to find him. I didn't get far in the story, but it was a basic "hero arc" "chosen one" plot.

I was just thinking about adding elves to my world (its relatively new lol) but i also have faeries and it doesn’t feel right having both lol
