Find out with me if this duck egg is fertile!

June 23rd I was walking through a forested area which is homed to a lot of ducks and geese. After walking for some time, I look and notice I’m about to step on this random duck egg in the walking trail. I picked it up and it was cool to the touch so I immediately held it for about an hour for some warmth. Getting home I check the egg for any signs of life since I have no idea how old it is and it was pretty clear. From June 23 until June 26th there have been some changes! From mostly clear to a dark speck into a circular clump! This is my first time attempting to incubate/ hatch an egg! I hope I can save this lost egg. I’ll be posting updates about the egg here. EGG UPDATE JUNE 27TH!! A huge difference from last night!

I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure it's infertile and rotting. Veins should be appearing by now. Give it a day or two longer if you want to be certain but eggs shouldn't get mottled and cloudy .

It’s a bit of an olive tone egg color (duck egg) but I can start to see some veins forming in the middle.

So I kind of struggling seeing inside but there were no veins yesterday.
