finding a horse trainer

It's hard to tell in winter. She does seem like she's covered up a bit more than she was but she's also gotten more hair coat which can fool the eye. How does she feel to you? I like them to have enough padding, in winter especially, so that I can barely to not at all feel their ribs. I like their hip bones and top of croup to have padding over the points so I don't feel the bone heads at all. She's young and growing still so she might be a little hard to keep up with. I have a yearling, coming 2, that took me all summer to cover up her ribs. I FINALLY can't see or feel them.

Coming at you, she doesn't look too bad

But sideways on, you can see she needed more weight aka more groceries. I feed my babies more than my adults so that they, hopefully, stay in good flesh and don't get to looking to skinny and yearling ugly. Though, she didn't go to Pinto Worlds last June because she had such a case of the yearling horendous.......I wanted to hide her so no one could see her, LOL!

The areas that look a little thin to me are her top line and hips. She does tie in a little low at the neck though, so her withers will always be somewhat more pronounced.

Her flank area does look better to me not so sunk in.

@ dreamcatcherarabians that horse is really pretty. I can't see ribs in any pics I have taken of her lately. You can feel them not really bad.

She is still eating and wasting a ton all the grass of course now that she has a mixed hay. She eats out all the alfalfa. People thought she was spoiled before. She use to eat all her grass hay.

I have been giving her strategy this last time I bought feed GX. We are up to 4 pounds a day, 2 pounds am and 2 pounds pm.

Do you think I should give her the AX if she is eating more alfalfa? The guy at the feed store new what I was feeding and said he would do the GX so thats what I did.

Top line does look low or something to me too?

She looks like she's added 75 lbs you are going the right direction now so keep it up green bag or white bag of feed? On a grain mix hay I fed I think the green bag then when I went to alfalfa cubes I changed so if that's what the feed store said then yes change. Merry Christmas

Thank you Gallofino!

Do you guys think her weight is better then last time? Last pics were on 12/21/10

The other thing I like about that video is that you can see that Daizy is always thinking...I think she's going to be a real fun little horse for you, with some daily work.
