Here iis my new hutch, built to brood, hatch and raise my chickies. I'm so proud! I've been using tupperwares and dog crates. The busineess is up and running with 3 new chickies... Mille Flleur D'Uccle /Silkie.

Through many trials and errors with buying hutches etc....this one has an aviary wire lid that opens for easy access and to hang the heat lamp. A large door into the "run" for cleaning etc. The other door has a circle window for more viewing. Is comppletely enclosed and has a hardware cloth floor for protection and grazing. I may add wheels later to move it around more easily.

    Sunny side up :)
I like the round window! Is that plexiglass on it?

Quote:Yes. Its inlaid in between the plywood on the door... this is my favorite part about the hutch. It. Gives it a "hobbit" look. The door is functional, but I made a door on top as well foor easy access and more viewabiliity. YourLinkGoesHere [IMG]
