The one thing my hubby hates about me is that we will do a project and about the time he thinks we are so close to done, I will step back, look at it, cross my arms and say "...I don't like it" I did that while we were building this new pin too.

To start with it looked about like this when he asked "so, is this done?"

"Yeah. ...No. We can do better!"

So then we did this! And he was like "Yes! Finished! ....Right?"

And I was like ".......I hate the prefab coop. *insert reasons here*..."

*SIGHS* " I'll go get my toolbelt." ...

Him: "Please, God, woman! Now?!"

Me: "I think this could work! ....we need a feed trough for this pin..."

*BAM*

Him: "I'm going inside now."

He's not the best ever because he can do all this stuff. He's the best EVER because he puts up with me. The man is a saint.

So that time frame was a little exaggerated lol. We've actually been on this project for about 3wks and I promise we are done. ...99% sure!

What do y'all think?

Very nice! My Dad is building my coop and run right now, and it is better than I ever imagined it could be... He still says (and exuse the launguage) "Damn Chickens!" Often, but me and him both know he loves them as much (or at least close to as much:p) as I do!

so he really went all out keep him and do not make him do more then you have winning coop and hubby
I won't ask him to do anything else with this. ...We have other projects to do! Muhahahaha!

Looks very nice, though I need to point out that chicken wire is not predator proof against ground based predators and pests. Don't know what possible predators you have in your area but that's something that you might want to reinforce.
Thank you. The whole yard is pretty well fenced with the 6ft privacy fence, security lights, burried wire, dogs on all sides (2 fences between the chickens and the neighbor's dog coz he kills things), used hardware cloth in the windows and the shed locks down pretty tight. I'm not saying a predator CAN'T get thru. But it will have earned its chicken if does lol.
