2txmedics, at least your coop has lots of room! I like it!! For the amount I paid, I really thought I'd have more room... but I guess that is what I get for not being better at math and calculating how big my coop would be by the dimensions it told me on the website.

SO, another question about the paint.. do I just use a low VOC paint and paint it in the morning while they are in the run... then it should be dry later on by the time for them to roost, right?

You did a great job with the run.

For painting, I'd use a good exterior latex paint.

The others have given you great suggestions, too.


Be proud of building it and having the chickies in the yard.
